SPS SOLID CONTACT CLARIFIERS are most suitable for water treatment applications including lime-soda softening, 

   brine softening, precipitation of magnesium and iron to remove turbidity, algae, color and other contaminants. 

- This type of clarifiers combines flocculation, coagulation, clarification and sludge removal in a single tank. 

- The portion of previously flocculated material is re-circulated and enhances solids contacts with chemicals and with

   each other for an optimum result.

   Available in sizes 0 - 100 ft diameter.

SPS Dissolved Air Flotators are used for removal of solids or particles which do not settle efficiently by gravity. The portion of effluent is pressurized with air at 80-100psi in a pressure vessel where air dissolves into the water. The saturated with air liquid is released into the feedwell by a special back pressure valve. The air escapes from the saturated liquid in a form of small bubbles. As the air bubbles travel upward they attract small solids or particles to adhere to them and therefore they are being lifted to the surface where skimming device will convey then into a trough for removal.
